South Africa Western Cape Cape Town

The Old Biscuit Mill

A vibrant hub in Cape Town housing a market, artisanal shops, restaurants, and design studios within a refurbished industrial space.

Tips from the community

A former biscuit factory, this much-loved spot now hosts a market that welcomes in more than 100 traders every Saturday morning. Mingle with the designers, chefs, photographers, and artists who make this hip foodie heaven so incredible. Eat your way around and be sure to grab a slice of my fave artisanal avocado toast from Oh My Avo! before you go. The Old Biscuit Mill is also a prime place to find a souvenir so keep your eyes peeled. They are open Saturday from 9 am-2 pm.

This vibrant market is situated in the heart of Woodstock. Once an old 19th-century factory, the Old Biscuit Mill is now an emporium of restaurants, craft shops and designer stores you want to tick off your bucket list. If you happen to visit on a weekend, save your Saturday for the Old Biscuit Mill.
